An evening of Mozart

Enjoy a fabulous spring evening filled with Mozart! Camerata Chicago is delighted to present Evren Ozel, a winner of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition performs Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20 with Camerata Chicago.

Conducted by Maestro Drostan Hall, Camerata Chicago also plays Mozart’s Prague Symphony No. 38 and two Lyric Pieces by Grieg including “Evening in the Mountains”.

Evren Ozel is the Bronze Medalist of the 17th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition (2025), where he also received the special prize for the Best Performance of a Mozart Concerto. He has performed extensively throughout the United States and internationally, and appeared as soloist at the Dame Myra Hess concert series, with the Cleveland Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, and Jacksonville Symphony, performing under conductors such as Marin Alsop, Carlos Miguel Prieto, Jahja Ling, and Ruth Reinhardt.
