Curious about how Chicago’s streets could better serve people instead of cars? Want to play a role in shaping safer, more joyful public spaces? Then take part in Mobilize Chicago’s Inaugural Public Summit–a half-day gathering blending art, design, and dialogue to reimagine people-first streets.

All are welcome — no prior experience needed. Engage with leaders shaping Chicago’s policy, advocacy, and planning. Bring your lived experiences to spark new visions for the city’s streets through interactive workshops, gain civic tools to act, and co-create a lasting public sculpture made from bike helmets.

Free with RSVP. Lunch will be provided for registered attendees. The day closes with a giveaway of custom quarterzips and other prizes.

In collaboration with designer Danya Almoghrabi, dance artist Hanna Di Lorenzo, and the Great Cities Institute at UIC.
